Mrs. Jo Aungst, 85, entered into rest on Saturday, December 18, 2010.

Born on January 19, 1925 in Madill, Oklahoma, Jo was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as a telephone operator. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford S. Aungst, parents, Arthur A. Billingsley and Elmyra Lee Billingsley, and brothers, Irving Billingsley, Ovel Billinsgley, Arvel Billingsley and Arlie Billingsley.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Debra Garrigus (Michael), Warner Robins; son, Kenneth Aungst; grandchildren, Kimberly Barker (Brad), Mooresville, North Carolina, Olivia Aungst and Clifford Aungst, Warner Robins; great-granddaughter, Jaden Barke, Mooreville, North Carolina; sisters, Ella Mae Hilton, Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Alice Sue Billingsley, Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers, Elvert Billingsley, Oroville, Washington, Marvin Billingsley, DeQueen, Arkansas, and Elvin Billingsley, Gillham, Arkansas; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, D.C.O. Jerry Bisping officiating. Interment will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff of Heart of Georgia Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
