Thelma Pamperien, 99, of Newton, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Beehive in Newton, Mississippi. She was born on Monday, March 13, 1922 in Cisco, Texas.
Thelma was a very dedicated member of her church and also enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She was very active in daily exercising and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Arlene Shimfessel; father, Silas Clay; mother, Dovie Clay; siblings, Silas Clay, Jr., Elzie Lee Clay and Dovie Alene Seabourn.
Survivors include her daughter, Darla Kay Kappelos (Peter); grandchildren, Donnie Shimfessel (Shelly), Missy Spears and Kassie Kappelos (Chris Blea); and great-grandchildren, Lauren Joseph (Kenny), John Parker Shimfessel, Heath Spears, Wes Spears (Mallory) and Jessica Blea.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Paul Cowles from Friendship Baptist Church will officiate the service.
