Tom “Buck” Masterson, 59, entered the gates of heaven on Friday, July 28, 2023.
Buck was born on June 11, 1964, in Ashland, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Cleo Masterson. A successful landscaper, he took pride in his work and taking care of his customers. Buck had a servant’s heart and would do anything for anyone. His grandchildren were the highlight of his life and he was their biggest cheerleader and supporter. Buck was the center point in their lives and a huge role model for them. He lived his life to the fullest and lit up any room he walked into. Buck loved music and dancing with his wife in the living room attempting to do perfect the two-step. He enjoyed the hunting cabin more for the camaraderie and being a friend to everyone who was lucky enough to know him. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, devoted uncle, and friend, he will be missed by all.
His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Chris Masterson, daughters; Danielle Oemig (Adam) and Erin Chiappetta (Pat); grandchildren; Logan, Luke, Harper, and Hadley Chiappetta and Binx Masterson-Oemig.; sisters; Rebecca Furtak, Geralyn Masterson and Kathy Steiner and brothers, Pat Masterson and Mike Masterson; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life following at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church at 410 W Michigan Street, Butternut, WI 54514. A luncheon will follow the service at Bobbers on the Lake in Butternut, Wisconsin.
