Thomas James Angelos, Sr., born on June 9, 1961 in Chicago, IL to the late James J. and Verna Angelos, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He dearly loved his family and was surrounded with their love as he crossed in the love of those who had gone before.
Thomas was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and worked for the Warner Robins Police Department as a much-loved crossing guard at Northside High School. In addition, he had a passion for aviation and was proud to have graduated from Central Georgia Technical College with a certification in Advanced Aircraft Sheetmetal Repair. When Thomas wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing online games, photography and spending time with his family. He battled Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for nearly a year but his kindness and positivity toward others never wavered. Thomas will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him as a loving husband and father to his wife, Michele, and their children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Michele Angelos; their children, Thomas J. Angelos, Jr., James T. Angelos and Julie A. Angelos; brother, James Angelos; and many nieces, nephews, and half brothers and sisters. In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his son, Orion T. Angelos and his sister, Debbie Angelos.
A memorial service celebrating Mr. Angelos’ life will be held at a later date.
