Thomas Merrell Poulnot of Warner Robins passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was 73 years old.
Born in Griffin, Georgia, on June 5, 1948, Thomas served in the United States Army before becoming a logistics specialist at Robins Air Force Base. He spent 37 years in civil service and was also a devoted member of First Christian Church of Warner Robins. An avid outdoorsman, Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery.
In addition to his parents, William Thomas “Jack” and Evelyn Louise Bridges Poulnot, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Willis.
Left to treasure his memory are his sons, Russell Poulnot of Warner Robins and Nathan Poulnot and wife Lindsey of Marietta; grandchildren, April Willis, MacKenze Poulnot, Laython Willis, and Jaylon Willis; aunt, Shirley Langston; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Lee Swanson; and sister-in-law, Janie Phillips.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Vandervort officiating. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
