Tim Mark Hopkins

Tim Mark Hopkins entered into rest on the morning of Sunday, October 9, 2022, at his residence in Warner Robins. He was 60 years old.

The son of the late Frank and Mildred Lyons Hopkins, Tim was born on August 29, 1962, in Columbus, Georgia. Diligent in his career, Tim worked as an Optician at American Eye Care for a number of years until his retirement. Although Tim helped many people throughout his career, Tim’s greatest accomplishment was being the caretaker of his beloved wife, Connie. He was also passionate about cars and was especially proud of his Corvette. Tim will be remembered as a loving husband and a trusted friend. He enjoyed talking with others and never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Pierce Hopkins.

Tim is survived by his children, Tim Hopkins, Jr., Ashley Hopkins of Washington, Amy Hutto (Ryan) of Fort Valley, Georgia, and Ryan Floyd of Statesboro; four grandchildren; siblings, Ken Hopkins (Karen) of Pine Mountain, Johnny Hopkins (Patsy) of Harris County, and Sharon Frost of Columbus.

A graveside service celebrating Tim’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Afterward, Tim will be laid to rest next to Connie in Magnolia Park Cemetery. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
