Timothy Jacob Gienger

Timothy Gienger passed away at his home on Thursday, January 28, 2021. He was 66 years old.

Timothy was born in Valley City, North Dakota to the late Raymond Gienger and Alice Moore. He joined the U.S. Army in 1988 and was awarded the Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, and Good Conduct Medal. He married June Haddox Gienger on April 24, 2017 and the couple made their home in Kathleen, Georgia.

A person who appreciated all life had to offer, Timothy also enjoyed retired life. He worked as a PC Analyst for the Methodist Health System for many years before his retirement. Timothy’s other love was being in the kitchen and he was known for being a great cook. He was a family man through and through and loved spending time with his kin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond A. “Buddy” Gienger and Thomas Frederic Gienger.

He leaves behind his wife, June Gienger; brother, Gary Gienger; sisters, Teresa Helmick and Rebecca Schutte; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Timothy will be laid to rest at Omaha National Cemetery in Nebraska at a private service which will be held at a later date.
