Timothy Sutton Strickland

Timothy Sutton Strickland, 58, entered into rest on Monday, February 5, 2024. 

Timothy was born on April 1, 1965, in Akron, Ohio to the late John Thomas Strickland and Sibyl Sutton Strickland. As a youth, Timothy was in the Boy Scouts and proudly earned his Eagle Scout. Later in life, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Akron University in Biomechanical Engineering and honorably served in Desert Storm as a Navy Corpsman. His presence will be missed by all those he held dear. 

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his brother, John Mark Strickland. 

His memory will forever be treasured by his brother, Thomas “Jim” Strickland and his wife, Sherry; nephews, Harry W. Strickland and Wyatt M. Strickland (Stephanie); and sister-in-law, Evette Strickland. 

A memorial graveside service will be Monday, March 18, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Andersonville National Cemetery, where Timothy will be laid to rest.
