Billie Wayne Reid, Sr., 73, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

Bill was born on January 22, 1941 in Grafton, West Virginia. He proudly served and retired from the United States Air Force in 1982 and from the Defense Logistics Agency at Robins Air Force Base in 2000.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sue Reid; his first wife, Sandra Hollen Reid; sisters, Dixie, Jean and Eleanor; and granddaughter, Cassie Reid.

Bill's memory will forever be treasured by his loving and devoted wife of forty years, Shirley Reid; children, Cindy Walker (Steve), Billie Reid, Jr. (Hayley), Jeff Reid (Carolyn), Mark Reid (Michelle), Sherry McReynolds (Andy), Bobbie Sellers and Kathy Opitz (Doug); brothers, Lyndel (Carolyn), Marty and John Reid; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
