Tsgt. Bobby Joe Dycus, Usaf (Ret)

June 16, 1933 — April 20, 2010

Mr. Bobby Joe Dycus, 76, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2010.

Mr. Dycus was born on June 16, 1933 in Memphis, TN. A 32nd degree Mason, he was a life member of the University Lodge in Memphis, TN. Of the Baptist faith, TSgt. Dycus was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force from which he retired. Bobby also retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in civil service as an Electronics Technician. His parents, Lloyd E. Dycus and Birtie L. Rogers Dycus, one brother and two sisters, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Ella Beard Dycus; daughter, Pamela Lemmond, both of Warner Robins; sons and their spouses, Robert L. Dycus and Hae-Me, Titusville, FL; John Dycus and Darlene, Reynolds; sister, Martha Younger, Millington, TN; grandchildren, Matthew Lemmond, Kyle Lemmond, Susan Tadsen, Holly Dycus; and great grandchildren, Abigail Lemmond, Isabelle Lemmond, and Ambria Tadsen.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, April 22, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment with full military honors will be in Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association 277 MLK, Jr. Blvd. Ste 201 Macon, GA 31201-3498.
