TSgt. David N. Blackwell, USAF (Ret.) was welcomed into Heaven by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was 70 years old.
On June 9, 1951, in Clinton, South Carolina, David was born to the late Clarence Lee and Mary Elaine Floyd Blackwell. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired with the rank of Technical Sergeant. David went on to work for the Macon Water Authority as a Plant Operator.
A devoted Christian, David spent hours on end studying and memorizing the Bible. The living Word was imprinted on his heart and mind. David enjoyed attending Full Gospel Church of Warner Robins. All will miss his strength, wisdom, and joking personality.
His wife of 42 years, Kyu Cha Kim Blackwell of Warner Robins; and brothers, Mike and Larry Blackwell of South Carolina are left to cherish his memory.
Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Full Gospel Church of Warner Robins at 105 Wisconsin Ave, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at Full Gospel Church of Warner Robins with Pastor Bong Taek Chang officiating. Afterward, TSgt. David N. Blackwell, USAF (Ret.) will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
