Glen Fitzpatrick, 62, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
Glen was born on December 30, 1955 in Eugene, Oregon. Following high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he served in the Middle East and during the Vietnam War. Glen was awarded many medals for his 20 years of honorable service including the Good Conduct Medal, Longevity Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, and the Outstanding Unit Award with 2 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters. In 1990, he moved to Warner Robins where he worked for Northrop Grumman as a System Engineer until his retirement. Glen was a member of the NRA; he enjoyed collecting and shooting rifles as well as various other types of guns. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, building, working on computers, and studying military history. However, his greatest joy was found in time spent with his beloved family.
His mother, Lavonne Margene Matilda Brown, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Susan Conrad Fitzpatrick, daughter, Kelly Fitzpatrick, and grandson, Zachary Gentry, all of Hawkinsville; father, Don Brown of Drain, Oregon; siblings, Debbie Hudy, Cheri Evans, Desiree Tullar, Scott Chase, Robert Brown, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Chapel of McCullough. Afterwards, Glen will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors.
