Tsgt Grover Cleveland Handley, Jr. Usaf (Ret)

Grover Cleveland Handley, Jr., 75, entered into rest on Monday, December 6, 2010.

Grover was born on October 3, 1935 in Rebecca, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. TSgt Handley proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1973. Subsequent to his military career, he worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base. His parents, Grover Cleveland Handley, Sr. and Jewel Nasworthy Handley, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Vera Lee Handley; children, Mike Handley (Brandi); Merle Handley, all of Warner Robins; Gail Carroll (Adrian), Kathleen; Kay Jones (Mark), Vidalia; brothers, Donnie Handley and Herman Handley; sisters, Mildred Crawford and Annette Minshew; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, December 9 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
