Joseph P. "Joe" Segreto, 69, entered into rest on Friday, February 15, 2013.
Joe was born on March 14, 1943 in Staten Island, New York. With pride and honor, TSgt Segreto served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after obtaining the rank of Tech Sergeant. While enlisted, he was a member of the 19th Bomb Wing, working as an Aircraft Mechanic and Crew Chief for tankers. Subsequent to his military requirement, he worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base for twenty eight years. Joe enjoyed flying remote control planes and was active in Ham Radio organizations.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of forty-eight years, Mary Segreto, Warner Robins; children, Joseph Paul Segreto, Jr. (Gera), Peach County; Michael Lee Segreto, (Jennifer) Warner Robins; brother, Mike Segreto, Miami, Florida; grandchildren, Erika Segreto and Amber Sullivan; great grandchild, Brayden Michael Segreto; several nieces and nephews, and devoted pet, Gizmo.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Ste. A., Macon, Georgia 31201.
