TSgt. Kenneth Alan Kennedy, Sr., USAF (Ret.), age 87, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025. Born on Christmas Day in 1937 in Miami, Florida, he was the beloved son of the late Chestley and Carolyn Kennedy.

Following his graduation from high school, Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he rose to the rank of Technical Sergeant before retiring. His commitment to service didn’t end there—he continued his career at Robins Air Force Base as a GS-11, later moving into civil service where he retired as a contract specialist with ARINC.

Kenneth also served his community as a councilman for the City of Centerville, dedicating his time and efforts to making his hometown a better place.

A man of strong faith, Kenneth was a devoted member of The Bridge Church in Fort Valley. He loved sharing the message of Jesus with those around him and lived a life that reflected his deep Christian values.

He was a passionate fan of University of Georgia football and could often be found cheering on the Bulldogs with great pride.

Kenneth leaves behind a legacy of service, faith, and love—a life well-lived and well-loved.
