Tsgt. Robert "Bob" Pilarsky, Usaf (Ret.)

Robert Pilarsky, 68, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

Bob was born on November 29, 1947 in Germany to the late John and Margaret Pilarsky. Following high school, he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Then Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force where he retired with the rank of Tech Sergeant, after 23 years of service. After his military career, he went to work for the Houston County Sheriff's Department retiring after 23 years. Bob was a lifelong member of the NRA and enjoyed Frontier Reacting. However, his greatest joy was found time spent with his beloved family.

Along with his parents, his sister, Mary Pilarsky, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 38 years, Deborah Pilarsky of Warner Robins; son, Derrick Pilarsky (Christina) of Warner Robins; grandson, Kolton Pilarsky; and siblings, Cathy Pilarsky of Sacramento, California; Theresa Elridge of Boise, Idaho; and Vernon Pilarsky of Sacramento.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Robert "Bob" Pilarsky to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201 or National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, www.nleomf.org.
