Tsgt. Thomas Nathaniel Ward, Usaf (Ret.)

Thomas Ward, 69, entered into rest on Thursday, September 28, 2017.

Thomas was born on February 11, 1948 in Pocahontas, Virginia to the late Kenneth and Mary Alice Ward. He graduated from Clark Atlanta University where he played basketball and proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force. Thomas bravely served his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired with the rank of Tech Sergeant. He was a longtime member of the American Legion where he enjoyed playing pool.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 32 years, Yong Choi Ward of Warner Robins; children, Kokumo Ward of Atlanta, Kenith Ward of Korea, Krystal Ward of Warner Robins, and Kenyatta Ward (Ashley) of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Kaiden and Kimarie Ward, Cain Cofer, and Kenzley Ward; niece, Veronica Ward; nephews, Jaquez Ward and Paul Hinton; and cousins, Harold Franklin, Jr., Wendell Franklin, and Patricia Franklin.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 1, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
