Velva Joy Boyd

Velva Boyd, 80, entered into rest on Friday, November 10, 2017.

Velva was born in Alabama on July 12, 1937 to the late Lewis and Lela Jesus. At a young age, her family moved and made Georgia their home. Velva adored her family and dedicated her life to caring for them. She was an active member of the Kingdom Hall in Warner Robins and took great pride in her role as a Jehovah’s Witness. Velva had a servants heart and was always eager to help anyone.

Velva is preceded in death by her parents.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fifty-six years, Edward Boyd and many loving family and friends.

Velva will be laid to rest at a private family service at Central Grove Church Cemetery in Telfair County.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Velva Boyd to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2821 Moody Road, Bonaire, GA 31005.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Boyd’s arrangements.
