Veneda Mae Johnson

Veneda Mae Johnson, 72, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2004. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in Hazlehurst, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Reverend John Wesley Hutchison and Frances Christine Hutchison and the widow of John David Johnson. She was a retired food service specialist from the Houston County School System. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Macon and Warner Robins.

Survivors include her three sons, Ronald David Johnson, Unadilla; Donald Johnson, Macon; and Robert Eric Johnson, Warner Robins; two brothers, Kermit Hutchison, Douglas, GA, and John Verdain Hutchison, Macon; a sister, Mary Catherine McCuen, Pottersville; granddaughters, Nicole Ann DeMarco and Olivia Jean Fortner; and four great-grandchildren.
