Vicki Delores Moore

On the morning of Thursday, November 11, 2021, Vicki Delores Moore passed away at her home in Bonaire with her loving family by her side. She was 64 years old.

Born in Rome, Georgia on New Years Eve 1956, Vicki was the daughter of the late Troy Payne and Evelyn Keith Payne. Vicki was born with a passion for horses in her blood and riding her four-legged friends was a balm for her soul. She was hardworking and spent over 24 years working in nutrition for the Houston County Board of Education. Most recently, she worked at Veterans High School from the time it opened until her retirement. She also worked for a short time for Sandy’s Sandbox in Bonaire. Her family was the most important thing to her and she adored the time she spent with them.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband of 30 years, Rusty Moore; daughter, Melissa Moore of Bonaire; as well as siblings, Cindy Haygood of Rome, Georgia, and Carol Tate of Cave Springs, Georgia.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
