Vickie Wehrle passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was 53 years old.
Vickie was born in Dothan, Alabama on April 22, 1965 and was of the Baptist faith. She worked for 32 years in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. In her free time, Vickie enjoyed gardening, reading, flowers, the beach, and animals, especially cats. She also enjoyed cooking, especially for Christmas. Each year, she enjoyed taking the week of Christmas off of work to cook treats for friends and family. Vickie’s loving disposition made her friends wherever she went as she treated everyone like family. Her consistently positive outlook kept her family’s spirits uplifted, even throughout her sickness. Vickie will be remembered by all who knew her has a wonderful mother who dearly loved her family.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 31 years, Tommy Wehrle; son, Christopher Scott Wehrle; parents, Larry Ray and Barbara Ann Deese; sister, Sharron Eddy (Jerry); grandmother, Doris Benton; and niece and nephew, Avery and Eli Eddy.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Magnolia Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Vickie to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
