Victoria Nicole Davis Reynolds, 34, was carried in the arms of angels to her heavenly Father on Saturday, May 9, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nikki was born on September 17, 1980, in Macon, Georgia, to James A. and Vickie Cook Davis. She was a proud Demon graduate of Warner Robins High School and attended both Georgia Southern University and Middle Georgia State University.
Nikki's training and love of dance inspired her to work with students teaching them the art of tap dance. She touched the lives of many students, instructing at local studios including Kids America, The Academy of Dance, and International City Ballet School. Nikki later joined the staff of Christ United Methodist School as a physical education teacher. Throughout her illness, she received comfort and strength from the students and staff of Christ School who brought tremendous joy to her life.
Nikki was a very compassionate person who loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed traveling with her family and supporting her two children in their many extracurricular activities. Nikki was an avid shopper—as many know—and she received great joy finding treasures for her nieces and nephews on Etsy, Pinterest, and eBay.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of thirteen years, William Reynolds; son, William Tyler Reynolds; daughter, Chloe Taylor Reynolds; parents, James and Vickie Cook Davis; brothers, James A. Davis Jr. (Stacey) of Richmond Hill, GA and Daniel Davis (Ashley Lewis) of Bonaire; sister, Ashley Reynolds of Bonaire; half-sister, Jennifer Thrailkill-Leonard (Tom) of Ridgecrest, CA; nieces and nephews, James Davis III, Grant Davis, Brylee Reynolds, Frankie Leonard, and Sailor Nicole Davis; grandmother, Carmolene Cook of Byron; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Sandra Reynolds of Fort Valley; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who provided indispensable support to Nikki and her family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Christ United Methodist Church in Warner Robins with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made in memory of Nikki to the American Red Cross, 346 Corder Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088; or the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201.
