Vigdis Irene Kiper

On the afternoon of Monday, January 23, 2023, our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Vigdis Irene Kiper, passed away. She was 78 years old.

Born in Kråkerøy, Norway on March 13, 1944, Vigdis was the daughter of the late Anton and Asta Hansen. Her life revolved around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as she loved them with all her heart. She loved people and was a kind and loving soul. Vigdis' memory will be forever treasured, and she will be deeply missed by family and friends from both Norway and the U.S.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dennis Kiper.

Vigdis is survived by her children, Heidi Johannessen and Terje Johannessen; grandchildren, Kjell, Kevin, Veronika, Steffen, Daniel and Mone; and great-grandchildren, Diana, Aleena, Keighlee, Makayla and Ethan.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
