Violet Ethel Oxley

Violet Oxley, 65, died Friday, July 5 at her residence. Services will be held Monday, July 8, at 2:00 pm in Countryside Baptist Church in Macon.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Southern Care Hospice, 3330 Northside Dr. Ste. 106, Macon, GA 31210.

Mrs. Oxley was born in Macon and was a member of West Macon Baptist Church. She had been a cashier at H & L Greens in Macon. Her husband, Edward L. Oxley, Sr and her parents, Willie Libren Cox and Annie Adams Cox, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Debra J. Oxley, Brunswick, GA; Edward L. and Lisa Ann Oxley, Lizella; brothers, Willie T. Fountain, Fitzgerald; Jimmy McDaniels, Monroe, GA; sister, Mary Louise McCraney, Mississippi; and five grandchildren.
