Centerville – Funeral services for Virginia “Genny” Langston, age 61, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, at McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be at Leverette Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Children’s Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, 858 High Street, Macon, GA 31201.

She was born on September 18, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Minnie Leverette and two brothers, Paul and Sonny Leverette. She was a member of Solid Rock Community Church of Centerville.

Survivors include her husband, Herman B. Langston, Sr. of Centerville; children, Lisa and John Morath, Kim and Larry Kersey, Herman “Bubba” Langston, Jr., Ginger and Alan Morris, David and Renee Langston, Paul and Sonja Langston, and Andrew Langston. Siblings were Gertrude Caswell and Pattie Couillard. She had twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12. McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
