Randall Thomson, 50, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2007.
Mr. Thomson was born on July 8, 1956 in Macon, Georgia, but lived his whole life in Houston County. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville. Randall was a 1974 graduate of Northside High School. For twenty five years he was the owner/operator of Randall’s Rod and Machine Shop in Centerville. Randall was so talented; he repaired and remodeled old cars from scratch and won numerous awards at car shows. He devoted a lot of time to his work and even invented an aluminum radiator overflow valve which was used in his cars. His intelligence and knowledge in his field were demonstrated on the beautiful work he produced. In his own way, Randall always made people feel welcomed, loved, and encouraged. His parents, Harold and Ruth Thomson, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Thomson, son, Brandon Thomson, mother of his children, Kim Thomson, all of Warner Robins; sisters, Pam Maynor, Warner Robins; Vivian Long, Centerville; brothers, Ronnie Thomson, Byron; Larry Thomson, Perry; and his beloved cat, Smooshie.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007 in First Baptist Church of Centerville with interment following in Centerville City Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Centerville 108 Church Street Centerville, Georgia 31028.
