Wade Harbin, 85, entered into rest on Saturday, February 7, 2009.
Mr. Harbin was born on August 26, 1923, in Seneca, South Carolina. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Navy and fought during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a former commander for Woodward Camp 1399. His loving wife, Bonnie Lee Harbin and parents, Joe and Rhoda Harbin preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Joe Harbin (Debbie), Bonaire, Lee Harbin, Lithia Springs; sister, Dixie Lannis, Pitts, Pennsylvania; brother, Henry Harbin (Helen), Baltimore, Maryland and grandchildren, Joshua Harbin, Carla and Chris Coombs and Jody Harbin.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Services immediately following on Monday, February 9, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.
