Wade William Hendrickson, Eagle Scout and motorcycle enthusiast, passed away at the age of 53 on Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born on January 12, 1968 in Rancho Cordova, CA, and was of the Lutheran faith. A lifelong Boy Scout, Wade was honored to follow in his father’s footsteps by earning the coveted Eagle Scout rank. He passed his dedication and love for the Boy Scouts of America to his own son, Jacob, and was proud to see him earn his Eagle Scout rank, as well! He was his daughter, Jillian’s, superhero. Wade loved his family unconditionally, especially his kids and fiancé, and was the best role model for how to love someone.
Along with his passion for the Boy Scouts and spending time with his family, Wade loved all motorcycle/street bike sports, including Motocross. He was a wonderful cook, to boot, and was an expert on his Traeger Grill. Wade also enjoyed cruising and traveling with his fiancé, Geri.
Wade is survived by his loving children, Jacob Hendrickson and Jillian Hendrickson, both of Folsom, CA; his parents, Roger and Elizabeth Hendrickson of Rancho Cordova, CA; his fiancé, Geri; and his bonus children, Kayla Stoddard (Andrew) and Paige Baity (Ryan), both of Georgia.
At the family’s request, all services will be private.
