Wallace Leslie Cox, Jr., 88, entered into rest on Friday, October 15, 2010.

Mr. Cox was born on August 25, 1922 in Nova Scotia, Canada. He proudly served in the United States Army, retiring after 21 years. He then worked at Robins Air Force Base until retirement in 1987. Mr. Cox was employed by Perry Hospital for 17 years. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Perry and a member of Dot Hardy Sunday School Class. Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace L. Cox, Sr., and Julia Cox; sisters, Pricilla Griffin; and Mildred Marble.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Evelyn Cox; son, Leslie Cox (Arlene); grandchildren, Christopher Cox (Gina) and Jonathon Cox; two nephews; and four nieces.

Visitation will be Monday, October 25th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following at Perry Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr.
