Wallace Roland Welch

Wallace Roland Welch, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

Wallace was born on October 9, 1934 in Telfair, Georgia to the late Joe and Bessie Rawlins Welch. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Wallace worked at Kennedy Space Center for over twelve years, before working logistics in the missile division of Robins Air Force Base. After his retirement from Robins Air Force Base he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.

Along with his parents; his son, Gordon Bruce Welch; and sisters, JoNell Schutz and Ruenette Appleton, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Linda Seegraves (Barry), Michael Welch (Jeannette), Susan Shawver (Mark); daughter-in-law, Patricia Welch; and beloved, Reba McEldowny; as well as his grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Jason, Laura, Kaity, Joseph; great grandchildren, Trevor, Kaitlyn, and Zachary; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and much extended family.

Visitation with friends will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following immediately at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at McCullough. Following the service, Mr. Welch will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Wallace Welch to Central Baptist Church, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
