William Walter Hiott, Jr. “Wally”
William Walter Hiott, Jr., 63, passed away on December 17, 2007.
Wally was born on February 1, 1944 in Walterboro, South Carolina. He graduated from Berry College in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Christian Homemakers Sunday School Class. Wally served his country in the Army National Guard. He was the owner of “More Than Mail” and a member of the Evening Optimist Club. His parents, William Walter Hiott, Sr. and Elsie Pearl Hiott, preceded him in death.
Wally was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother-in- law, and uncle. Survivors include his wife, Charlene Hiott; daughter, Marcy Anne Hiott; grandson, Jalen Trammell Jones, all of Warner Robins; other family members and many, many friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2007, in the Christ United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, TN 38105 or Christ United Methodist Church Building Fund, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088
