On the afternoon of Monday, October 24, 2016, Wanda Gosnell joined her beloved husband, Francis in heaven. She was 77 years old.
Born on June 23, 1939 in Roberta, Georgia, Wanda was the daughter to the late Leonard and Laura M. Daniel. She was a career stay at home mother who loved her family deeply. Mrs. Gosnell also enjoyed her church family and her church, Beaver Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Kathleen where she was a longtime member.
Wanda will be remembered as a warm, happy, and giving person who always looked forward to visiting and helping people when she had the chance. She loved gardening and art, as well.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gosnell was also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Daniel.
She leaves her memory behind with her devoted children, Roger Hancock (Chris) of Kathleen, Laura Richardson (Dan) of Bonaire, and Amy Gosnell of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor Hancock and Adam and Devin Richardson; brother, James L. Daniel (Evelyn); and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Afterwards, Mrs. Gosnell will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Wanda to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon, GA 31201.
