Wanda Kennedy

Wanda Kennedy, 67, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2006.
Mrs. Kennedy was born on August 28, 1939, in Tifton, Georgia. Her parents, James William and Emma Nadine Thurman, and brother, Billy Thurman, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kennedy retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Item Manager after 37 years. She was an avid reader and a Braves fan.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly (Rick) Nitz, Bonaire; sisters, Carol Outlaw, Bonaire; Wynell Parks (Larry) Byron; Twana Marlow (Ned), Patty Durham (Tony), Warner Robins; Debbie Smith (Blake), Kathleen; brothers, Jimmy Thurman and Frank Thurman, Byron; sister-in-law, JoAnn Thurman, Byron; several nieces and nephews, six great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great-nephew.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2006 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home
