Wanda Purvis

Wanda Purvis, 69, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

Wanda was born on September 18, 1947 in Tampa, Florida to the late Okey and Ellen Bowen. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who always put her family first. In her spare time, Wanda enjoyed fishing with her husband and her beloved family. She was of the Baptist faith.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon C. Bowen, Bert Eugene Bowen, Ralph Bowen (Barbara); and aunt, Marion Dawson (Luther).

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 37 years, Hughey Purvis of Warner Robins; sons, Andy Paulk (Pam) of Ocilla, Drew Purvis (Jen) of Warner Robins; and Christina Georgatos (Dennis) of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, John and Nicholas Georgatos; cousins, Connie and David Dawson, as well as many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

At the family's request, all services will be private.
