Wannelle G. Smith

Wannelle Griffin Smith, 63, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2011.

Mrs. Smith was born on October 15, 1947 in Lakeland, Georgia, and had lived in middle Georgia for the past forty-four years. A 1966 graduate from Irwin County High School, she was co-owner of Liberty Transport Services. Southside Baptist Church was her church home. Her father, Ely Vinson Griffin, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty-four years, Danny Smith; son, Daniel Lee Griffin (Emily) Smith, Warner Robins; granddaughter, Kendall Smith; siblings, Irene (Gaston) McDaniel, Rebecca, Georgia, and James Vinson (Jean) Griffin, Irwinville, Georgia, and mother, Lillian Virginia Lee Griffin, Rebecca, Georgia.

Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor Jonas Alday officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
