Wayne Bush

Wayne Bush, 79, walked through the gates of Heaven to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2015.

Wayne was born on December 8, 1935 in Rhine, Georgia one of three boys to the late Sam Abner Bush and Eunice Meadows Drake. He grew up in Eastman and graduated from Rhine High School where he played basketball. A 50 year resident of Warner Robins, Mr. Bush owned and operated the esteemed First Street Auto Sales and raced stock cars at the Middle Georgia Raceway. He was an avid hunter and loved spending time in his boat at Lake Sinclair and skiing.

He was preceded in death by his parents along with his brother, Danny Bush.

Wayne's memory will forever be treasured by his loving daughters, Melody King (Dave) of Warner Robins and Michelle Cranford of Florida; grandchildren, Dr. Ryan Wayne Schott (Merridith) of Altamonte Springs, Florida, Capt. Brittany Schott of California, SSgt. William "Lee" McClendon of Korea, and Tiffany McClendon of Macon; three great-grandchildren; brother, Travis Bush (Jessie) of Warner Robins; sister-in-law, Mary Bush of Grantville, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. After the funeral, Mr. Bush will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
