Wayne Edward Mercer

Wayne Edward Mercer, 69, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2005 in his home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 25, 2005 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, Georgia Affiliate, One Corporate Square, Ste 127, Atlanta, Georgia 30329.

Mr. Mercer was born in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. He was a humble, giving, loving man, and loved people. He was an excellent athlete and the first quarterback for Warner Robins High School. His parents, Charles and Mabel Mercer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Paul (Jessica) Mercer; Tony (Debbie) Mercer: Cathy Mercer; Donna Dale; Jeannie Mercer; brother, Ken Mercer; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
