Wendell ''Beetle'' O. Bailey

Wendell ''Beetle'' O. Bailey left this Earth on Friday, July 13, 2012 to be with his Maker.

Beetle was born on May 10, 1943 in Cuthbert, Georgia. He was a proud Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a devoted member of the VFW and American Legion. His love, compassion, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all. His parents, Otto and Frances Bailey of Warner Robins, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; daughter, Miki and granddaughters, Skylar and Jasmine, Houston, Texas; his daughter, Marie (Jason) and granddaughter, Kaitlyn, Birmingham, Alabama; eldest sister, Barbara Polk; beloved brother and best friend, Joe Bailey; niece, Jessica Bailey; niece/third daughter, Joanna Bailey and her children, Makaylah and Tristen, all of Warner Robins; siblings, Jane Mulkey (Rob), Jean Langston (Boot), and Jon Bailey (Sharon), all of Warner Robins; multiple nieces and nephews; and his long-term fat companion, Sarah the cat.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
