Wilbur R. Horne, Sr.

Warner Robins – Wilbur R. Horne Sr., 90, entered into rest on Monday, January 24, 2011.

Mr. Wilbur Horne was born on November 9, 1920 in Dodge County, Georgia. He served the Warner Robins community for many years as the barber and owner of Horne's Barber Shop. During the 1960's he was owner and operator of City Barber & Beauty Shop in Dublin. His parents, Jonas Horne, Minnie Coleman Horne and son, Larry Horne preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Judy (Phil) Wright, Warner Robins; Wilbur (Linda) Horne, Jr., Kathleen; Wayne (Margie) Horne, Warner Robins; Fred Horne, Warner Robins; Kay Wilder, Jacksonville, Florida; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; brother, George Horne, Dublin; and sister Ozell Mullis, Dublin.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Hospice Care Option's, 1125 Walnut Street, Macon, GA. 31201.
