June Armstrong, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on March 23, 1943, in Savannah, Tennessee, June was the daughter of the late Louvenia Love White.
June was a talented interior decorator at Haverty’s Furniture, a career that allowed her to express her innate sense of style and beauty. She took great joy in her passions: gardening, shopping, traveling, and caring for her beloved grandchildren, grand pups, and animals. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Armstrong; daughter, Lecia Carole Overton; and siblings, Morris White, Mary Ann Woody, Sonny White, and Glenda Stanfield.
