William Allen Spangenburg, 44, lost his life February 21, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Allen, born September 9, 1966 in Marietta, worked at Dublin Construction as a Millwright Mechanic and was a carpenter for over twenty years. He was an active member and leader in Celebrate Recovery at Southside Baptist Church. Allen enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and baseball.
His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of nineteen years, Kevette Stouder Spangenburg; daughters, Ashtan and Kylee Spangenburg; parents, Jerry Spangenburg (Harriett) and Faye Earwood Ingram (Earl); brothers, Mike Spangenburg (Carrie), Ashley Fowler (Jesse), Tim Spangenburg (Laura) and Randy Ingram (Kim); sisters, Paige Surgart (Charlie) and Lori Barberich (Jeff); and several nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Southside Baptist Church, Reverend Charlie Bibb officiating. Entombment will follow at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Southside Baptist Church Celebrate Recovery, 1040 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins GA 31088.
In honor of Allen's wishes and love for hunting, "camo" (camouflage) attire will be worn and is encouraged.
