William "Andrew" Chastain

On Sunday, August 29, 2021, William Andrew Chastain, 30, passed away at Houston Medical Center after a brief battle with Covid-19.

The son of Bill Chastain of Bonaire and Barbara Emmert Chastain of Warner Robins, Andrew was born on February 26, 1991. A Middle Georgia native, he was raised in Warner Robins. Diagnosed with Autism at an early age, Andrew had his own set of challenges but it never stopped him from smiling. He always had a smile on his face no matter the circumstance. During high school, Andrew was part of the special education program at Houston County High School. He was proud of his school and especially loved cheering on the HOCO Bears during football season. As a Christian, he worked for and was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church. His whole community adored Andrew. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed enough to have known him.

In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by his sister, Stephanie Watson (Larry) of Warner Robins; grandmother, Barbara Miller; niece and nephew, Madison and Aaron Watson; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Perdue and Reverend Gary Morton officiating. Following the service, Andrew will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
