William "Bill" Shuford Browder

William “Bill” Shuford Browder, age 65, passed into the arms of his loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

The son of the late Walter Fred and Elizabeth Cochran Browder, Bill was born in Gaylesville, Alabama on September 1, 1956. Being born and raised in Alabama, naturally Bill attended the University of Alabama and was an avid Bama football fan. A retired Tech Sergeant with the United States Air Force, he most recently worked at Robins Air Force Base in logistics. While he was in the Air Force, during Desert Storm, he worked closely with NATO. When he had free time, Bill could be found at the golf course or sitting around a campfire playing on his guitar. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Lisa Morris Browder; children, Elizabeth Browder (Tony Northern) of Centerville and Will Browder (Megan) of Warner Robins; step-children, Courtney Weiss (Brian) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Jeremy Hitt of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Damien, Andre, Lexi, and Cooper; and ex wife, Jennifer Browder of Warner Robins.

A visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. Bill’s service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Central Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at noon at Andersonville National Cemetery.
