William F. Norman, 80, entered into rest on Sunday, October 17, 2010.
Mr. Norman was born on December 28, 1929 in Liverpool, West Virginia. Mr. Norman was a veteran of the United States Army, serving for 23 months during the Korean Conflict. A resident of Warner Robins since 1962, he also retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mr. Norman was also a past president of Warner Robins Little League. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Cloris Norman.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved and devoted wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Nawroth Norman; daughters, Kathryn McCannon; Sandra Johnson (Doug); Christine Wellman (Peter); son, David Norman (Cynthia); brothers, Tom and Larry Norman; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A rosary service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 with visitation until 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with entombment following at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 277 M.L.K. Jr., Blvd. Ste. 201
