William George "Bill" Maki, 64, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
Bill was born on November 6, 1948 in Wakefield, Michigan and was of the Catholic faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base after thirty-five years. Bill loved riding his Harley, working on cars and riding his John Deere tractor, but most of all, he cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren. Bill's father, Bernhardt Maki, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty years, Cheryl Maki of Kathleen; children, Mary Jolena Maki of Kathleen, Diana Morris (Kirk) of Gray, Jamie Maki (Summer) of Gray, and Joshua Mathis of Roberta; mother, Mary Maki of Grants, New Mexico; twelve adoring grandchildren; siblings, Dale Maki (Mary) of Grants, New Mexico, Jimmy Maki (Debbie) of Deerfield, Illinois and Donna Miller (Lenny) of Alamogordo, New Mexico; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
