William Henry Bloodworth, Jr. walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was 80.
William was born on April 1, 1936 in Macon, Georgia to the late Hazel Dupree and William Henry Bloodworth, Sr. He grew up in Macon and proudly joined the United States Army shortly after high school. Mr. Bloodworth later retired from Florida Rock and Tank after many years of being a truck driver. He was also a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church, enjoyed spending time with family, and fishing whenever he had the chance.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Christine Jackson, Michelle Pendleburg, and Cherry Bloodworth.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Beverly S. Bloodworth of Bonaire; children, Michael Bloodworth of Jacksonville, Florida, Timothy Bloodworth of Warner Robins, Rose Misner of L'Anse, Michigan, Beverly Stanfill, Jr. of Byron, Raymond Stanfill of Macon, and Delmer Stanfill of Byron; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating William's life will at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22nd at the home of Tim Bloodworth, 106 Ora Cir., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mr. Bloodworth to Pruitt Health Hospice, 6060 Lakeside Commons Dr., Macon, GA 31210.
