William L. Paul, Sr.

William L. Paul, Sr., 79, entered into rest on October 16, 2008.

Mr. Paul was born on December 31, 1928 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after forty-one years of service as an aircraft mechanic and was of the Baptist Faith. His father, Deward Anthony Paul, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Peggy Paul, Warner Robins; sons, William L. Paul, Jr. (Barbara) and John D. Paul (Lydia), both of Warner Robins; mother Irene Dillard Paul, Comer; sisters, Oneida Nation, Crawford; Dare Smith and Jeanette Berryman, both of Comer; brother, James M. Paul, Crawford; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park, Atlanta GA 30329.
