On the afternoon of Thursday, September 1, 2016, William Singletary went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was 81 years old.
William was born in Manchester, Georgia to the late William and Lenita Clark Singletary. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. In his spare time, Mr. Singletary loved traveling. Mr. Singletary was also a longtime member of Bonaire United Methodist Church, the Georgia Motor Coach Club, and was a lifetime member of the WRHS Touchdown Club. With all of the things he enjoyed, his family was most important to him and he always put them first.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances B. Singletary.
He leaves his memory behind with his loving children, Lott Singletary (Cheryl), Robert Singletary (Sharon), and Gary Singletary (Tambra); grandchildren; Jessi Sisa (Brandon), Jordan Singletary (Jordie), Ethan Singletary (Alex), Macy Foskey (William), Hillary Singletary, Emily Singletary, and Hannah Singletary; great-grandchildren, Addison, Cami, and Elijah Sisa, Brock Foskey, and Cooper Singletary; and sister, Jeanette Chambers.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 4th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Afterwards, Mr. Singletary will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of William Singletary to the Warner Robins High School Touchdown Club, Inc., P.O. Box 8023, Warner Robins, GA 31095-8023.
