William Michael "Mike" Rogers

September 28, 1957 — March 9, 2007

William M. Rogers, 49, passed away on March 9, 2007. Mr. Rogers was born on September 28, 1957 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church, where he was an Awana leader and a choir member. He co-established the Discovery Recovery Program. His father, Paul Tarr, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Murphy Rogers, Byron; mother, Virginia W. Tarr, Martin, TN; brothers, Brian Tarr, TN and Glen Tarr, Springhill, FL; seven nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2007, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor David Long officiating and interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Living Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, 3290 Lower Hartley Bridge Rd., Byron, GA 31008.
