William Robert "Bill" Schnable

William Robert "Bill" Schnable, 80, went to be with Jesus and join other family members on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

Bill was born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. Bill loved God, his family, playing softball, and gardening. He was an active member of Second Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Dorothy Schnable; brothers, Richard and Robert; and sister, Sandy Beeman.

Bill is survived by the family he cherished, his wife of 57 years, Faye; his sons, Ricky (Sarah), Jay (Mariela), Jon (Cindy) and Jeff (Carol); eight grandchildren, Joni Tucker (Brent), Aimee, Renae, Lauren Martens (Tyler), Shannon, Carly, Amanda Causey (Robert) and Chris Ellsworth; two great-grandchildren, Hank and Brayden Causey; and from Pennsylvania, his sisters, Pat Boyer (Bob) and Betty Coyle, and sister-in-law, Nancy Schnable.

Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Second Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Rd, Warner Robins GA 31088.
